Booklet includes detailed color step-by-step instructions.

Note from Janet: When making this quilt, I would absolutely cut as you sew! Most of the units (the trees and mountains), are cut from 4.5" strips so you can start with a 4.5" strip of all the greens and whites. If cut from 4.5" strips, the finished units measure 4.5" for a 4" finished unit. The star in the moon is from a 3.5" strip (measure 3.5" for a 3" finished unit). In class, I have students begin with the moon section on page 15 and work their way to the left, cutting, laying out to make sure all directional fabric are RS up, and then stitching. The Diagram on page 18 has the fabric letters listed as a reference for cutting as you go. The geese can be done any time, and I did make all of mine first, but again the background is directional, so the side geese background squares are oriented differently prior to stitching than the top geese.
