Perforated Soft Tear-Away Stabilizer is used as a backing when appliquéing designs on light- to medium-weight fabrics. It is especially helpful when stitches may tunnel or become buried in the fabric. One of its greatest advantages is that it keeps projects soft, so finished pieces do not feel stiff or bulky.

This stabilizer is best suited for traditional appliqué rather than embroidery appliqué. After the appliqué is complete, excess stabilizer tears away easily around the outside of the design. The inner sections do not need to be removed and are designed to remain intact through washing and drying.

Perforated Soft Tear-Away Stabilizer pairs well with The Whole Country Caboodle Soft Woven Fusible Interfacing for smooth, stress-free stitching.

A laser precut appliqué is a pre-cut fabric shape that’s been precisely cut using a laser machine—and it comes with a fusible backing already applied. That means no tracing, no cutting, and no fuss! Just peel off the paper, press it onto your project with an iron, and stitch it down. It’s one of the easiest and most fun ways to add detailed designs to quilts, bags, and more.

Not sure if you need a pattern, kit, or laser precut pieces? Here's a quick guide: choose a pattern if you want to use your own materials, a kit if you want everything bundled and ready to go, and laser precuts if you love the ease of iron-and-stitch appliqué with no cutting required!

Fabric is sold by the yard. Select the number of yards you want (e.g. choose 4 for 4 yards), and you’ll receive one continuous cut of fabric.
